A high-grade steel spring and one piece forged hook
used in the loop of a derrick load line to prevent the
wire rope from burying itself in the pole.

• Hook mushroom head slips into the the loop eye

• Spring is placed between the loop and the hook

• When the pole sets, pressure on the wire rope is
released, expanding the spring and dropping the rope

• Both components can be used in many other lifting
applications with any wire rope up to 3/4 in. dia.

• Spring is 2-1/8 in. (54 mm) OD x 18-7/16 in.
(47 cm) long

• Clevis offers wide 1 in. (25 mm) opening for large
pulling eyes. Clevis rated for 15,000 pounds and is
approx. 7 in. long. (178 mm)

• Screw Pin Shackle has a capacity of 9 1/2 tons. Hot dip galvanized.
