Drop Wire Hook & Strap

This galvanized steel wire hook and strap combo is the one to use when you need to install a drop wire clamp
on masonry, or an unexposed drop wire on a non-masonry surface where porcelain insulation is not required.

The hook is easy to install; all you need is a 5/16 in. (8 mm) diameter x 3/4 in. (19 mm) long hammer
drive anchor for use on masonry, or a 2 in. (51 mm) long #18 RH wood screw for non-masonry surfaces.

Combine the hook with one of our E Lashing Wire Clamps (08146), and you’ve got an excellent span clamp for
attaching a drop wire clamp to messenger.

You can even use it to connect a drop to a metal post with one of our 67262 Sign Brackets. The strap assures that your Drop Wire Hook is securely installed. It’s got a central 5/16 in. (8 mm) diameter x 1/2 in. (13 mm) long stainless steel screw for attaching your hook, and two 3/8 in. (10 mm) diameter holes to mount the strap itself.
