• Its cast aluminum clamps let it adjust and stay to fit all sized manholes within its range

• Once inside the lip of the manhole, the space between the base of the shield and the lip of the manhole can be sealed with GMP's Sealing Compound (GMP P/N 24008). this will keep mud and surface water from entering an open manhole vault.
