• Instantaneous full load brake - spring applied; hydraulically released, designed to hold the rated load up to 7,400 lbs. on a bare drum. The brake is non-directional, meaning you can pull-in or power-out when required without overheating.

• Counterbalance valve installed in the hydraulic circuit to eliminate back-roll drum rotation

• Air-shift clutch makes free spool operation simple. Push a button to engage or disengage the drum clutch and pull off the wire rope.

• Level-wind mechanism for wire rope, which distributes the wire rope onto the drum in tight, even lays. The Level-wind is supplied in underwind configuration.

• Clutch position sensing - This feature gives you an indicator light which indicates if the drum clutch is engaged or if the drum is in free-spool mode.

• Free-spool caliper drag brake and remote actuator are supplied to control over spooling

• Drum guard has been incorporated in the new design to control the cable if the drum is over spooled

Max. rated line pull bottom layer: 7400 lbs (32.9 kN); top layer: 2500 lbs. (11.1 kN). rated pulls are for the winch only. Consult the wire rope supplier for wire rope rating of sufficient safe working load for this winch. Top layer 390 ft./min. (118.9 m/min.). Storage capacity 2500 ft. (762 m). Above based on 5/16 in. diameter wire rope.

Rated input speed 2010 rpm. Starting torque 87.5 lb.-ft. Running torque 80.9 lb.-ft. Winch duty cycle rating 165ß F. Winch rated in compliance with SAE J706 manufactured by General Machine Products Co., Inc. Trevose, PA USA.

Options Available

Extended Frame and Outboard Hanger Bearing. This feature gives you a drum shaft extension with a 2,000 lb. rated capacity, allowing you to utilize Reels and Capstans with the winch.

Remote Pendant Controls. Permits remote control of all winch functions from a console via fiber optic cable.
