Battery Lifter & CEV Hoist

Battery Lifting System enables one field technician to safely handle bulk power batteries at remote terminals.

• Heavy batteries can easily be lowered into or lifted out of CEV Vaults with the use of the CEV Electric Hoist. Once in the vault, the technician can maneuver them into or out of any position in the rack with the Battery Lifter & Tray. It is safe, simple and easy to use and all components have been tested to withstand years of use. As always, you can rely on GMP quality and durability.

• The Battery Lifter is designed to raise or lower a Battery Tray from the floor to a maximum lifting height of 74 in. (188 cm) by means of a winch crank. (Overall extended height is 87 in. (221 cm). Additionally, the lifter has rear legs that can be swung down to provide stability when the load is raised. The Battery Lifter is 21.5 in. (55 cm) wide and can easily be maneuvered in a CEV vault. The unit weighs a total of 50 lbs. (23 kgs) and has a load capacity of 200 lbs. (91 kgs). The Battery Lifter comes with a Battery Lifting Tray.

• The Battery Lifting Tray is used in conjunction with the

Battery Lifter and the CEV Hoist. The Tray is equipped with castors so that heavy batteries can easily be rolled into position for lifting with the Battery Lifter. Additionally, the tray comes with a rope assembly that is used in conjunction with the CEV Hoist. The Tray with rope assembly weighs 17 Lbs. Tray accepts the following batteries: (1) 105 lb. (48 kgs) 6 VF11 battery, (2) 78 lb. (35 kgs) AT & T VR Series Batteries, (2) 34 lb. (15 kgs) VB 34 Batteries.
• The CEV Hoist mounts in a socket in the opening on a CEV vault and provides a means to raise or lower batteries in or out

of a CEV vault. The hoist draws 115 VAC (from the CEV vault). The winch motor is equipped with a remote 6 ft. (1.83 m) pendant switch. A Storage Bag is included. The unit weighs 55 lbs. (25 kgs). Maximum lifting capacity is 200 lbs. (91 kgs).
