B Connecting Links

These time-tested, split "sister hooks" or "figure-8" links let you join two pulling lines together, and consist of two E-shaped, forged steel parts held together with a metal pin.

• Swivel the two halves open to insert the looped end of the each pulling line, then close and secure the link with a few turns of 2 in. friction tape around the center
