Web Slitter

Model B Web Slitter for .250 in. (Also referred to as a 305B tool) (6.4 mm) messenger dia.

You can use this plier-type tool to slit the web between the strand and cable core on figure 8 cable and Aerial Duct.

• All you have to do is hold the block of the slitter parallel to the strand and draw it along the cable and strand

• This self-guiding tool makes sure the blade pierces the web and not the sheath or strand jacket

• The cutting blade is held with one screw and reinforced with a square washer to prevent bending

• The tool is zinc plated to resist corrosion

P/N 82730 has a blade reinforcement guard for heavier webs. This helps prevent the blade from bending or breaking.
