GMP Recognized for International Trade Efforts

GMP has received the "Large Company Export Sales Award" by the Bucks County International Trade Council (BCITC) for its 2002 trade and export efforts in Canada, Latin America and in the Far East. "We are pleased to have been recognized by the local business community for all that we've acheived in our global sales and marketing efforts", said Doug Clemens, Vice President of Sales & Marketing. "This award is also a testament to the hard work of Mr. Gustavo R. Padron, Marketing Manager, Latin America, and Ms. Ann Garton, International Sales Correspondent," said Clemens. A plaque was given to the company in honor of the award.

The mission of the BCITC is to promote international trade by educating Bucks County Business in opening or expanding American and foreign trade, to increase employment in Bucks County through added imports / exports and the promotion of the port of Bucks County. The Council will facilitate exchange by coordinating resources and expertise available through the Chamber of Commerce, educational organizations, business, government, and financial resources.

The BCITC incorporated in 1993 and is sponsored by five Bucks County Chambers of Commerce, the Bucks County Economic Development Corporation, Bucks County Community College, Delaware Valley College, the Bucks County Commissioner, as well as the local business community.
