General Machine Products Co. (GMP) recently appeared at the Telephone Association of New England (March 31 - April 3, 2003). The purpose of TANE is to create a forum that provides our Associates the opportunity to focus on an audience interested in customized educational opportunities and vendor specific information. The Showcase and Symposium is intended to be both educational and informative. General Session topics are held in two sessions to provide up-to-date information on topics relative to our members. The breakout sessions are held to provide flexibility for the presenters as well as the attendees. They can pick and choose the sessions that most interest them. Topics include safety, technical presentations on new products, hands on product and craft demonstrations and informational sessions.

Texas Communications EXPO

General Machine Products Co. (GMP) has appeared at the Texas Communications EXPO. The TC-Expo (April 1-3, 2003) provides a unique opportunity to view state of the art communications equipment and discuss these products with vendors through product display and technical seminars.

EXPO COMM Mexico 2003

"The Expo Comm Mexico 2003 attracts the highest quality buyers by addressing the needs of professionals who require the most up date knowledge for making informed buying decisions," said Gustavo Padron, GMP's Marketing Manager for Latin America. "By presenting and offering different types of lashing wire alloys and comparing them with what is currently available in Mexico, GMP has solved many of the problems contractors face with aerial installations."

The 12th annual EXPO COMM is Mexico's largest and longest running telecommunications, wireless, networking, and internet technologies exhibition and conference. It serrves as the launching pad for new technology and new product announcements in Mexico.

EXPO CONVENCION CANITEC 2003

General Machine Products Co. (GMP) introduced new tools and equipment at the EXPO CONVENCION CANITEC 2003 show (March 12-14). CANITEC, which stands for Cámara Nacional de la Industria de Televisión por Cable, is the annual cable TV show and was held in the World Trade Center, Veracruz, Mexico.

At the show, GMP promoted the operation of its first authorized lasher repair center in Latin America. The center will speed up maintenance activities for contractors in region. Present at GMP's exhibit were Bill Pfundt, President of GMP, Alex Pfundt (Bill's son), Gustavo Padron, GMP's Marketing Manager for Latin America, along with members of ELECTELCO, GMP's manufacturers representative in Mexico. ELECTELCO provided an impressive exhibit booth with Lashing Machine repair center and held hands-on demonstrations each day.

94th Annual Minnesota Telephone Association Convention

GMP recently appeared at the Minnesota Telephone Association Expo (March 23-26, 2003), which was held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel & Millennium Hotel, Minneapolis. The Minnesota Telephone Association is a non-profit, professional association that represents the interests of over 100 small, medium and large companies that provide advanced telecommunications services like voice, data, wireless and high-speed Internet access to Minnesota's metropolitan and rural communities.

"Our products were very well received", said Frank Zaccone, GMP Senior Sales Representative. "This audience is always interested in what GMP has to offer."

Organized in 1909, MTA serves as the industry's voice on regulatory and legislative issues that affect the operation of our member companies and the delivery of telecommunications services to consumers.
