Pulling Frames
Pulling Frames are used as a guide for the pulling line and cable when placing and removing cable in manholes that are not equipped with pulling irons.
- The 12 ft. 6 in. (3.8m) frame is designed for use inmanholes up to 11 ft. 6 in. (3.5m) deep, while the 15 ft. (4.57m) frame can be used in
deepermanholes
- Each frame consists of two 6 in. (152mm), high structural aluminum channels bolted back to back
- Sheave pin holes are provided on 6 in. (152mm)
centers, so that individual sheaves can be easily loaded or removed
- Two 1-5/16 in. (33mm) dia. sheave pins come with each frame The C Pulling Frame is used to support Cable Sheaves or the B Quadrant Block inmanhole pulling operations.
